The Amino Acid Requirements of the Pink Bollworm

The growth a and development of the pink bollworm ( Pectinophora gossypiclla (Saund.)) on media containing various amino acids as a source of nitrogen is described. Optimum development was observed on a medium with an amino acid mixture based upon the composition of cottonseed protein.
