Localization of Dark Current Random Telegraph Signal sources in pinned photodiode CMOS Image Sensors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This work presents an analysis of Dark Current Random Telegraph Signal (DC-RTS) in CMOS Image Sensors (CIS). The objective is to provide new insight on RTS in modern CIS by determining the localization of DC-RTS centers and the oxide interfaces involved.

Temperature dependence and dynamic behaviour of full well capacity in pinned photodiode CMOS image sensors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This study presents an analytical model of the Full Well Capacity(FWC) in Pinned Photodiode (PPD) CMOS image sensors. By introducing the temperature dependence of the PPD pinning voltage, the existing model is extended (with respect to previous works ...

Importance of interaction between the matrix effect and microbial metabolism in the bioavailability of lignans

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 4, Page 2180-2189, 15 March 2026.
Abstract BACKGROUND Plant‐lignans are polyphenols with low bioavailability and bioactivity that are transformed by the intestinal microbiota into enterolignans. Our hypotheses are: (i) the way in which plant‐lignans are ingested in the diet affects, in a decisive way, the microbial metabolism of these compounds and (ii) an increase in lignan ...

Profiling and Characterization of Seed Storage Proteins From Borage (Borago officinalis L.) Pressed Cake as a Novel Plant‐Based Protein Source

open access: yesSustainable Food Proteins, Volume 4, Issue 1, March 2026.
Borage (Borago officinalis L.) pressed cake, a by‐product of oil extraction, was profiled and characterized to evaluate its potential as a sustainable, plant‐based protein source. Protein fractionation revealed glutelin‐like proteins as predominant, accompanied by 2S albumin, 7S, and 11S globulin‐type proteins. Proteins exhibited high thermal stability
