Clinical Practice Guideline for Evaluation and Management of Peripheral Nervous System Manifestations in Sjögren's Disease

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies.

Set Stability and Stabilization of Switched Boolean Networks With State-Based Switching

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
This paper is devoted to studying the set stability and stabilization of switched Boolean networks (SBNs) with state-based switching using the semi-tensor product (STP) of matrices. First, the algebraic form of an SBN is obtained by STP.

Periodic Intermittent Adaptive Control with Saturation for Pinning Quasi-Consensus of Heterogeneous Multi-Agent Systems with External Disturbances

open access: yesEntropy, 2023
A periodic intermittent adaptive control method with saturation is proposed to pin the quasi-consensus of nonlinear heterogeneous multi-agent systems with external disturbances in this paper.

Manufacturing Continuous Fiber‐Reinforced Printing Filaments: Development of a Post‐Consolidation Unit

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A novel, temperature‐controlled post‐consolidation unit is developed to test its potential to improve the melt impregnation process used to manufacture continuous fiber‐reinforced filaments for additive manufacturing of high‐performance thermoplastics.

Quasi-Synchronization of Coupled Nonlinear Memristive Neural Networks With Time Delays by Pinning Control

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
This paper formulates the models of systems of nonlinearly and diffusively coupled memristive neural networks (CMNNs) with time-varying delays and then investigates its dynamic behaviors.

Microstructural Evolution and Vacancy Defect Formation in Mn–Mo–Ni RPV Steel Under Low Cycle Fatigue: Insights From EBSD and PALS

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Quasi-Consensus of Fractional-Order Multi-Agent Systems with Mixed Delays and External Disturbance via Impulsive Pinning Control

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In this brief, the quasi-consensus issue is examined for fractional-order multi-agent systems (FROMASs) subject to both mixed delays and external disturbances, employing an impulsive pinning control (IPC) strategy.

Laser Metal Powder Deposition of Titanium Microalloyed HSLA Steel FeC0.12Si0.25Mn1.3

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates the additive manufacturing of titanium‐doped high‐strength low‐alloy (HSLA) steel via laser metal deposition. It reveals distinct process‐structure relationships for elemental powder blends compared to prealloyed feedstocks.

Domain wall pinning and potential landscapes created by constrictions and protrusions in ferromagnetic nanowires [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The potential experienced by transverse domain walls (TDWs) in the vicinity of asymmetric constrictions or protrusions in thin Permalloy nanowires is probed using spatially resolved magneto-optical Kerr effect measurements.

Influence of an Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere on Diamond‐Single‐Grain Scratching of Ti–6Al–4V

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Single‐grain scratching of Ti–6Al–4V is investigated under controlled, oxygen‐free, and ambient atmospheres using a novel experimental setup with in situ high‐speed imaging. The approach enables direct observation of chip formation and adhesion under suppressed oxidation.
