QTL detection for growth traits in Pinus elliottii var. elliottii and P. caribaea var. hondurensis

Forest Science and Practice, 2013
Quantitative trait locus (QTL) detection was carried out for growth traits in 122 F1 progenies of Pinus elliottii var. elliottii (PEE) × P. caribaea var. hondurensis (PCH) hybrid. The PCH male parent linkage map contained 108 markers in 16 linkage groups, while the PEE female parent contained 93 markers in 19 linkage groups.

Genetic maps for Pinus elliottii var. elliottii and P. caribaea var. hondurensis using AFLP and microsatellite markers

Theoretical and Applied Genetics, 2003
Genetic maps for individual Pinus elliottii var. elliottii and P. caribaea var. hondurensis trees were generated using a pseudo-testcross mapping strategy. A total of 329 amplified fragment length polymorphic (AFLP) and 12 microsatellite markers were found to segregate in a sample of 93 interspecfic F(1) progeny. The male P. caribaea var.

Intraspecific hybridization in Pinus caribaea var. hondurensis II. Genetic parameters

Euphytica, 2003
Genetic parameters of growth and stem straightness to seven years of age were estimated from two field populations of pure Pinus caribaea var. hondurensis provenances and their intraspecific hybrids, (Mountain Pine Ridge (MPR) x coastal provenances).
