Exudation of resin was observed on trees of Pinus taeda, with 30 years of age,in Guaragi and Colombo, municipalities of the State of Paraná, Brazil. Besides resinosis, decline and death also were noted. Internally, sapwood was colonized by Sphaeropsis sapinea and became discolored.
