クロマツにおける節の存在や形態がマツノザイセンチュウ (以下, 線虫) の移動に与える影響を明らかにするため, 節の条件が異なるクロマツ切り枝に線虫を接種し, 通過数を調べた。また, 節における皮層樹脂道の形態を観察した。さらに, クロマツ苗木に線虫を接種し, 輪生枝数と病徴進展との関係を調べた。通過線虫数は, 節の無い切り枝よりも節のある切り枝で少なく, さらに節の輪生枝が多い切り枝ほど少なかった。このことから, クロマツの節では線虫の移動が抑制され, その効果は輪生枝数が多いほど強いことが明らかになった。また, 節付近では, 皮層樹脂道の結合や走行方向のわん曲がみられ, 節から離れた部位よりも節の皮層樹脂道の横断面は小さく, 数も少なかった。このような節の皮層樹脂道の形態が ...
