Pinuskesiols A-F (1-6), six new structurally diverse abietane diterpenoids were isolated from Pinus yunnanensis resins. Their structures including absolute configurations were characterized by using spectroscopic and computational methods. All the compounds bear a carbonyl functionality at C-4 with 1 and 2 behaving as a lactone thereof.
