Differences in Consummatory but Not Anticipatory Reward Processing Predict Depressive Symptoms in Young Adult Women

open access: yesPsychophysiology, Volume 62, Issue 3, March 2025.
ABSTRACT Depression has been postulated to relate to alterations in both anticipatory (i.e., motivation) and consummatory (i.e., hedonic pleasure) stages of reward processing. However, few studies have concurrently examined the various processes of these stages. Furthermore, little attention has been paid to whether these associations are sex‐specific,

Dalitz plot studies of D0 → KS0π+π− decays

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
The availaible data on the D0 → KS0π+π− decays are analysed in the framework of the quasi two-body QCD factorization approximation. The annihilation, via Wexchange, amplitudes are added to the weak-decay tree amplitudes.

The Pion Decay Constants and the Rho-Meson Mass at Finite Temperature in the Hidden Local Symmetry

open access: yes, 1997
We study the temperature dependence of the pion decay constant and rho-meson mass in the hidden local symmetry model at one loop. Using the standard imaginary time formalism, we include the thermal effect of rho meson as well as that of pion.

The interplay between Hebbian and homeostatic plasticity in the adult visual cortex

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, Volume 603, Issue 6, Page 1521-1540, 15 March 2025.
Abstract figure legend (A) Modulation of the P1 component of visual evoked potential (VEP) by high‐frequency stimulation (HFS) used as a proxy of Hebbian plasticity in adult humans. (B) Correlation between Hebbian and homeostatic plasticity across participants. (C) Boost of the deprived eye perceptual dominance measured with binocular rivalry after 1 h

Generalized parton distributions of pion for non-zero skewness in AdS/QCD

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2018
We study the generalized parton distributions (GPDs) of pion for non-zero skewness by considering the leading |qq¯〉 Fock state component. Inspired from AdS/QCD light-front wave functions, we calculate the pion GPDs.

Studies of Parity Violation in Atoms

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 537, Issue 2, February 2025.
This article provides an overview of atomic parity violation (APV), emphasizing its role in testing the Standard Model and probing new physics. The review discusses manifestations of APV, including nuclear‐spin‐independent and dependent effects, and explores isotopic comparison as a method for precision measurements.

Pion wave-function as a bound system in 3 + 1 dimensional QCD

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2017
We investigate the Bethe-Salpeter-like amplitude in 3 + 1 dimensions. This involves a system comprising a quark and an antiquark combined by gauge fields to satisfy gauge invariance. We derive the equation of motion for this system and construct a series

Observation and investigation of πK atoms

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
There is accurate relation between lifetime of atoms, consisting of pion and kaon, and a difference of S-wave pion kaon scattering length with isospin 1/2 and 3/2: |a1/2 - a3/2 |. This difference is predicted by low energy QCD.
