Observation and investigation of πK atoms
There is accurate relation between lifetime of atoms, consisting of pion and kaon, and a difference of S-wave pion kaon scattering length with isospin 1/2 and 3/2: |a1/2 - a3/2 |. This difference is predicted by low energy QCD.

In-Medium Pion Valence Distribution Amplitude
After a brief review of the quark-based model for nuclear matter, and some pion properties in medium presented in our previous works, we report new results for the pion valence wave function as well as the valence distribution amplitude in medium, which ...

The Effect of the Pion-Pion Interaction on the Pion-Nucleon Scattering [PDF]
It is suggested that the low-energy pion-nucleon p-wave shifts will be well understood by taking account of the effects of not only the pion-pion P-wave interaction but also the pion-pion S-wave interaction into the equations for the p-wave scattering amplitudes derived by Chew, Goldberger, Low, and Nambu.

On the history of pion-pion scattering [PDF]
Highlights in the history of pion-pion scattering are discu ssed, starting with Yukawa’s hypothesis that pion exchange is responsible for nuclear forces, and ending with the NA48/2 analysis of Ke4 and K → 3π decays. No claim for completeness is made.

Charge dependence of the pion-nucleon coupling constant
On the basis of the Yukawa potential we study the pion-nucleon coupling constants for the neutral and charged pions assuming that nuclear forces at low energies are mainly determined by the exchange of virtual pions.

High temperature Bose-Einstein condensation
The indications of a possible pion condensation at the LHC are summarized. The condensation is predicted by the non-equilibrium hadronization model for 2.76 TeV Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC.

We compute all the leading-twist azimuthal spin asymmetries in the pion-proton induced Drell–Yan process. These spin asymmetries arise from convolutions of the leading-twist transverse-momentum-dependent parton distributions (TMDs) of both the incoming ...
