Effect of the ηη channel and interference phenomena in the two-pion transitions of charmonia and bottomonia

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
The basic shape of di-pion mass spectra in the two-pion transitions of both charmonia and bottomonia states is explained by a unified mechanism based on contributions of the ππ, KK̅, and ηη coupled channels including their interference.

The Effect of the Pion-Pion Interaction on the Pion-Nucleon Scattering [PDF]

open access: yesProgress of Theoretical Physics, 1961
It is suggested that the low-energy pion-nucleon p-wave shifts will be well understood by taking account of the effects of not only the pion-pion P-wave interaction but also the pion-pion S-wave interaction into the equations for the p-wave scattering amplitudes derived by Chew, Goldberger, Low, and Nambu.

DIRAC experiment at CERN

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
The precise measurements of π+π- and πK atom lifetime allow to check the predictions of Chiral Perturbation Theory for the pion-pion s-wave scattering lengths with isospin 0 and 2 and for the pion-kaon scattering lengths with isospin 1/2 and 3/2.

Pion-pion and pion-nucleon interactions in chiral perturbation theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Elastic pion-pion and pion-nucleon scattering are reviewed in the context of chiral perturbation theory. Theoretical results from systematic low-energy expansions to O(p^6) for pion-pion and to O(p^3) for pion-nucleon scattering are compared with experimental data. Possible future developments are outlined.
