Observation and investigation of πK atoms

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
There is accurate relation between lifetime of atoms, consisting of pion and kaon, and a difference of S-wave pion kaon scattering length with isospin 1/2 and 3/2: |a1/2 - a3/2 |. This difference is predicted by low energy QCD.

Charge dependence of the pion-nucleon coupling constant

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2015
On the basis of the Yukawa potential we study the pion-nucleon coupling constants for the neutral and charged pions assuming that nuclear forces at low energies are mainly determined by the exchange of virtual pions.

Studying ρ–N couplings with HADES in pion-induced reactions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
The High-Acceptance Di-Electron Spectrometer (HADES) operates at the GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung in Darmstadt with pion, proton and heavyion beams provided by the synchrotron SIS18.

Low-Momentum-Transfer Pion-Pion Scattering [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review, 1963
High-energy effects at low momentum transfer, both in the direct and in the crossed channel, are introduced into a self-consistent calculation of low- energy pi - pi scattering. These effects are assumed to be dominated by top- level please delete the above abstract no. 39923=====

High temperature Bose-Einstein condensation

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
The indications of a possible pion condensation at the LHC are summarized. The condensation is predicted by the non-equilibrium hadronization model for 2.76 TeV Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC.

Azimuthal spin asymmetries in pion-polarized proton induced Drell–Yan process at COMPASS using holographic light-front QCD

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We compute all the leading-twist azimuthal spin asymmetries in the pion-proton induced Drell–Yan process. These spin asymmetries arise from convolutions of the leading-twist transverse-momentum-dependent parton distributions (TMDs) of both the incoming ...

Production and decay of baryonic resonances in pion induced reactions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
Pion induced reactions give unique opportunities for an unambiguous description of baryonic resonances and their coupling channels. A systematic energy scan and high precision data, in conjunction with a partial wave analysis, allow for the study of the ...

Gluon distribution and mass decomposition of the pion and kaon

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We present the gluon distribution functions of the pion and kaon in small-x and large-x regions, and compare them with the results obtained from lattice QCD and continuum Schwinger function methods.
