Threshold Two-Pion Photo- and Electroproduction: More neutrals than expected
We present an exploratory study of two pion photo-- and electroproduction off the nucleon in the threshold region. To calculate the pertinent amplitudes, we make use of heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory.

How strange is pion electroproduction?
We consider pion production in parity-violating electron scattering (PVES) in the presence of nucleon strangeness in the framework of partial wave analysis with unitarity. Using the experimental bounds on the strange form factors obtained in elastic PVES, we study the sensitivity of the parity-violating asymmetry to strange nucleon form factors.

An improved hadronic model for pion electroproduction
Current measurements of the high energy behavior of the pion form factor are obtained from pion electroproduction data. These values are model dependent, utilizing the Vanderhaeghen, Guidal and Laget Regge (VGL) Model for their extraction. Recent work which examined the implementation of gauge invariance in that model suggested that it might lead to ...

Unitary Isobar Model - MAID2007
The unitary isobar model MAID2007 has been developed to analyze the world data of pion photo- and electroproduction. The model contains both a common background and several resonance terms.

Two Photon Exchange for Exclusive Pion Electroproduction
We perform detailed calculations of two-photon-exchange QED corrections to the cross section of pion electroproduction. The results are obtained with and without the soft-photon approximation; analytic expressions for the radiative corrections are ...

Observation of coherent $\pi^0$ electroproduction on deuterons at large momentum transfer [PDF]
The first experimental results for coherent $\pi^0$-electroproduction on the deuteron, $e+d\to e+d +\pi^0$, at large momentum transfer, are reported. The experiment was performed at Jefferson Laboratory at an incident electron energy of 4.05 GeV. A large

Measurements of inclusive pion electroproduction
Abstract Measurements of the inclusive pion electroproduction reaction e − +p → e − + π ± +X made at the Wilson Synchrotron Laboratory are reported. Data were taken at points with nominal ( Q 2 , W ) values of (0.6, 2.67), (1.2, 2.67), (2.0, 2.67) and (1.2, 2.15) in (GeV 2 , GeV). A more complete angular distribution was taken at (1.2, 2.67).

Near threshold neutral pion electroproduction on deuterium in chiral perturbation theory [PDF]
Near threshold neutral pion electroproduction on the deuteron is studied in the framework of baryon chiral perturbation theory at next-to-leading order in the chiral expansion.

Study of the A(e,e'$\pi^+$) Reaction on $^1$H, $^2$H, $^{12}$C, $^{27}$Al, $^{63}$Cu and $^{197}$Au
Cross sections for the p($e,e'\pi^{+}$)n process on $^1$H, $^2$H, $^{12}$C, $^{27}$Al, $^{63}$Cu and $^{197}$Au targets were measured at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) in order to extract the nuclear transparencies ...
