Vibration diagnosis method of oil pump inlet and outlet pipes

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun, 2021
The vibration of oil pump set and its inlet and outlet pipes during their operation is one of the main threats to the safe and stable operation of pipeline. Herein, the source of excitation force and the vibration causes of pipeline system were analyzed,

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

High Consequence Area identification method based on high-resolution remote sensing images

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun, 2022
Presently, the High Consequence Areas (HCAs) are mainly identified according to Oil and gas pipeline integrity management specification (GB 32167-2015).

Mothers of Pipelines

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2007
AbstractWe present a method for pipeline verification using SMT solvers. It is based on a non-deterministic “mother pipeline” machine (MOP) that abstracts the instruction set architecture (ISA). The MOP vs. ISA correctness theorem splits naturally into a large number of simple subgoals.

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

The ‘Leaky Pipeline′ [PDF]

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, 2016
Gender bias is widespread and needs to be acknowledged and addressed by the scientific community. In this Guest Editorial, M. Resmini, Professor of Materials Chemistry at the Queen Mary University of London, describes how supervisors can play an important role in addressing the ‘leaky pipeline′, namely, the progressive loss of capable women from STEM ...

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
