Nanoplastics Enhance Transmembrane Transport and Uptake of Carcinogens: Transcriptional Changes and the Effects of Weathering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanoplastics exposed to defined weathering conditions are systematically investigated as vectors for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). This investigation demonstrates significant potential for enhancing PAH uptake and transport in an intestinal membrane model.

Moisture Harvesting by the Structure Regulation of Hygroscopic Hydrogel for Energy and Water Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Hygroscopic hydrogels are capable of utilizing the moisture from air, which can transfer the gaseous water to liquid by a surface phase transition. Taking advantage of this water, sustainable water production, thermal management, and electricity generation can be realized.

Dopant Diffusion‐Induced Dielectric Breakdown: Stacked Dielectric Reliability on Heavily Doped Polysilicon

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals a novel failure mode in SiO₂/Si₃N₄ stacked capacitors, where dopant diffusion leads to interfacial oxide thinning, reducing dielectric breakdown voltage. Experimental results show that n type capacitors exhibit superior reliability, whereas p type capacitors fail rapidly.

Tuning the Performance of Poly(quaterphenyl piperidinium) Anion‐Exchange Membranes by Monomer Configuration

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Ether‐free poly(quaterphenyl piperidinium) ionomers are prepared by superacid‐mediated polyhydroxyalkylations and explored as hydroxide conducting membranes. The para‐meta configuration of the quaterphenyl monomer greatly influences polymer backbone flexibility.
