Activating the Osteoblastic USP26 Pathway Alleviates Multi‐Organ Fibrosis by Decreasing Insulin Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The loss of Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 26 (USP26) in osteoblasts results in decreased bone formation, as well as multi‐organ fibrosis associated with insulin resistance (IR). Mechanistically, the absence of USP26 reduces glycolysis and lactate accumulation, leading to decreased histone H3 lysine 18 lactylation (H3K18LA) in the promoter region of KH ...

Liquid Metal–Polyphenol Hybrids for Solar Steam Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The combination of liquid gallium nanoparticles, graphene, and a metal‐phenolic gel creates a unique architecture that can act as a highly efficient broad–spectrum solar light absorber. The resulting composite applied for solar steam generation can produce clean water with an evaporation rate of 3.4 kg m−2 h−1 under 1 Sun illumination from seawater ...

Boosting Nanofiltration Membrane Selectivity via Amine‐Polymer Additive Engineering for Efficient Lithium Extraction From Brine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A diffusion‐controlled interfacial polymerization strategy incorporating poly(allylamine) (PAA) into piperazine (PIP) solution enables precise tuning of amine monomer diffusion and polyamide (PA) network formation with trimesoyl chloride (TMC). The resulting nanofiltration membranes exhibit crumpled morphology, appropriate surface charge, and enhanced ...

Facile Access to Salt‐Resistant Polyzwitterionic Hydrogel Evaporator via In Situ Frontal Curing‐3D Printing Strategy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Polyzwitterionic hydrogel evaporator is developed by a facile in situ curing 3D printing strategy. It shows higher intermediate water/free water ratio in high‐salinity brine, leading to increased amount of activated water and lower evaporation enthalpy, which exhibits high evaporation efficiency and satisfactory salt tolerance.
