An in situ electroplating approach for MEX 3D printing is proposed, enabling copper deposition during the fabrication of conductive polymers. The method combines a printer‐integrated plating head, ML‐based g‐code control, and stop‐and‐go printing, achieving near‐bulk copper conductivity and enabling fully embedded, assembly‐free electronic components ...

Graphene‐Based Wearable Textile Triboelectric Nanogenerators and Biomechanical Sensors
This study presents a wearable textile‐based triboelectric nanogenerator (T‐TENG) using sprayed graphene enhanced with a PVA adhesion layer. The graphene‐based electrode demonstrates high electrical conductivity and robustness to multiple bends. The fabricated T‐TENG provides stable and efficient output, with strong responsiveness to biomotion.

Initial Design of an Optical-Access Piston Expansion Chamber for Wet-Expansion
Abstract High efficiency expanders which can cope with fluid-vapour mixtures (i.e wet expansion) at the inlet and during expansion have the potential to increase the power output from thermodynamic power cycles. Volumetric expanders are considered suitable, yet experimental results are scarce and there is no model that can predict the performance of ...

Multifunction reflector controlled by liquid piston for optical switch and beam steering
This paper presents a multifunction reflector controlled by liquid piston for optical switch and beam steering. The multifunction reflector consists of two liquid cavities that are designed with microchannels. Two holes covered with elastic membranes are fabricated on the upper surface of the liquid cavities.

A BioLiving Periosteum Evokes Centripetal Regeneration in Challenging Bone Defects
Large bone defects often suffer from insufficient central healing. This study engineers a BioLiving periosteum that mimics the native structure. It sequentially delivers remote chemical cues and contact physical cues in a signaling‐relay manner, effectively recruiting and guiding endogenous cells toward the defect center.

Casimir interaction: pistons and cavity
The energy of a perfectly conducting rectangular cavity is studied by making use of pistons' interactions. The exact solution for a 3D perfectly conducting piston with an arbitrary cross section is being discussed.Comment: 10 pages, 2 figures ...

Mild Focal Cooling Decouples Dendrites to Reconfigure Cortical Output
Mild cooling of the cortical surface selectively modulates apical dendritic excitability, plasticity, and somato‐dendritic coupling, while uncoupling these effects from basal dendrites, and reshapes apical‐driven responses in barrel cortex during whisker touch.

Phase Errors in Diffraction-Limited Imaging: Contrast Limits for Sparse Aperture Masking
Bispectrum phase, closure phase and their generalisation to kernel-phase are all independent of pupil-plane phase errors to first-order. This property, when used with Sparse Aperture Masking (SAM) behind adaptive optics, has been used recently in high ...
