Piston ring assembly for a new natural gas vehicle symmetrical multistage wobble-plate compressor [PDF]
Natural gas is an alternative fuel of choice in the market today due to the increase in the price of petroleum, as well as out of environmental concerns. Pressure requirement for a natural gas vehicle (NGV) storage tank is 3000 psig (206 bars).

The double perovskite BaSrNiWO6 is developed as an oxygen evolution reaction catalyst. B‐site W6+ dissolution drives in situ reconstruction of the surface to a disordered, NiO‐like layer. Consequently, local oxygen species are activated for a surface lattice oxygen evolution mechanism (sLOEM).

The axial motion of a piston ring in the piston ring groove
The piston ring axial motion model developed by Furuhama, Dowson and Hoult was modified using the parallel plate squeeze equation to account for oil in the ring grooves. The improved model was used to predict ring motion and the ring transition time from one ring land to the other.

Metal Sulfides as Potential Materials for Next Generation Lithium Ion Batteries: A Review
The flame spray pyrolysis (FSP) method demonstrates its superiority in fabricating metal sulfide‐based electrodes without inactive materials like organic binders or solvents. The particles are directly deposited and compressed onto the electrode surface, integrating into continuous production.

Dynamic analysis of gas flow through the ICE ring seal [PDF]
(1) Purpose: The effect of axial movement of piston rings in the piston grooves is estimated by calculation and experimentally for the passage of gases in an internal combustion engine (ICE). (2) Methodology: When modeling the effect of axial movement of

Numerical experiments on vortex ring formation [PDF]
Numerical simulations are used to study the formation of vortex rings that are generated by applying a non-conservative force of long duration, simulating experimental vortex ring generation with large stroke ratio. For sufficiently long-duration forces,
