This study investigates laser‐based oxide removal of Cu inserts in oxygen‐free conditions and examines long‐term oxidation kinetics and surface chemistry under different atmospheres via X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Al–Cu compound casting with differently oxidized surfaces is performed, and intermetallic phase formation, morphology, and thermal ...

Molecular Inks for the Development of Complex 3D In‐Mold Electronics
Molecular inks (MINKs) enable the fabrication of thermoformed 3D circuits by decoupling the forming and metallization steps. Following thermoforming, intense pulsed‑light or thermal processing converts the patterned MINKs into complex 3D conductive tracks with improved stretchability and electrical performance, advancing low‑cost, high‑performance in ...

Boron enrichment in Martian clay [PDF]
We have detected a concentration of boron in martian clay far in excess of that in any previously reported extra-terrestrial object. This enrichment indicates that the chemistry necessary for the formation of ribose, a key component of RNA, could have ...

Ejecta‐Modulated Bubble Dynamics Play a Dominant Role in Stone Retropulsion
Stone motion during laser ablation is shown to result primarily from asymmetric cavitation bubble collapse, not from ejecta recoil. This challenges long‐standing assumptions and highlights the dominant role of bubble dynamics in laser–material interactions.

Lava lakes and shallow level magmatic feeding systems of mafic volcanoes of an ocean island: Ambrym, Vanuatu (New Hebrides), South Pacific [PDF]
Ambrym is an active volcanic island with 2 major vent complexes; Marum and Benbow. These vent complexes are continuously active over at least the past two thousands of years.

Crater Morphometry on Callisto
Impact crater formation is affected by the physical properties of planetary crusts, allowing comparison of crater dimensions to serve as a proxy for comparing the crustal properties of different planetary bodies.

Thermal Coupling Simulation Analysis of Non-smooth Brake Discs with Orthotropic Anisotropic C/SiC
A simplified three-dimensional brake model with crater structure is established by using the finite element software Abaqus, and the influence of the depth, diameters, degrees and types of craters on the temperature and stress of the brake disc is ...

A lithium‐bearing slag is investigated with the goal of holistic valorization. The present β‐eucryptite (LiAlSiO4) exhibits a high lithium content and low levels of impurities. The spinel contains most of the chromium and vanadium, representing additional valorization opportunities.

Geology of Tolstoj quadrangle (H08), Mercury
Tolstoj quadrangle (H08) is located in the equatorial area of Mercury, between 22.5°N and 22.5°S and 144° and 216°E. Using the NASA/MESSENGER data, we compiled a geological map of the quadrangle at a scale of 1:3.000.000. The main basemap we used was the
