Two New Species of Hechtia (Bromeliaceae, Pitcairnioideae) from Western Mexico
Brittonia, 1993Hechtia glauca andHechtia iltisii are described as new and illustrated. Among the Bromeliaceae H. glauca is unusual in its glabrous, glaucous leaf surfaces. Botanica Acta, 1992AbstractNectar secretion pattern and effects of nectar removal were analyzed in six hummingbird‐pollinated Argentinean Pitcairnioideae: Abromeitiella brevifolia.
