Bifurcation analysis of commensalism intraction and harvisting on food chain model

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Biometrics, 2023
In this paper, we study the incorporation of the commensalism interaction and harvesting on the Lotka–Volterra food chain model. The system provides one commensal prey, one harvested prey, and two predators.

Bifurcation of Solution in Singularly Perturbed ODEs by Using Lyapunov Schmidt Reduction

open access: yesمجلة علوم ذي قار, 2019
This paper aims to study the bifurcation of solution in singularly perturbed ODEs:                                     the hypothesis                                                                                      the bifurcation of ...

The uncoupling limit of identical Hopf bifurcations with an application to perceptual bistability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We study the dynamics arising when two identical oscillators are coupled near a Hopf bifurcation where we assume a parameter $\epsilon$ uncouples the system at $\epsilon=0$.

Respiratory complex I‐mediated NAD+ regeneration regulates cancer cell proliferation through the transcriptional and translational control of p21Cip1 expression by SIRT3 and SIRT7

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
NAD+ regeneration by mitochondrial complex I NADH dehydrogenase is important for cancer cell proliferation. Specifically, NAD+ is necessary for the activities of NAD+‐dependent deacetylases SIRT3 and SIRT7, which suppress the expression of p21Cip1 cyclin‐dependent kinase inhibitor, an antiproliferative molecule, at the translational and transcriptional

Sequence of Routes to Chaos in a Lorenz-Type System

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2020
This paper reports a new bifurcation pattern observed in a Lorenz-type system. The pattern is composed of a main bifurcation route to chaos (n=1) and a sequence of sub-bifurcation routes with n=3,4,5,…,14 isolated sub-branches to chaos.

Wave propagation in the Lorenz-96 model [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinear Processes in Geophysics, 2018
In this paper we study the spatiotemporal properties of waves in the Lorenz-96 model and their dependence on the dimension parameter n and the forcing parameter F.

Numerical Computations for Bifurcations and Spectral Stability of Solitary Waves in Coupled Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
We numerically study solitary waves in the coupled nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations. We detect pitchfork bifurcations of the fundamental solitary wave and compute eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the corresponding eigenvalue problems to determine the spectral stability of solitary waves born at the pitchfork bifurcations.

Stochastic attractor bifurcation for the two-dimensional Swift-Hohenberg equation with multiplicative noise

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2023
This article concerns the dynamical transitions of the stochastic Swift-Hohenberg equation with multiplicative noise on a two-dimensional domain (-L,L) times (-L, L).

Symmetry-breaking transitions in networks of nonlinear circuit elements

open access: yes, 2010
We investigate a nonlinear circuit consisting of N tunnel diodes in series, which shows close similarities to a semiconductor superlattice or to a neural network. Each tunnel diode is modeled by a three-variable FitzHugh-Nagumo-like system.

Detecting homologous recombination deficiency for breast cancer through integrative analysis of genomic data

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.
