Nanoplasmonics Reveal Ionic‐Strength‐Driven Hydration of Nanoparticles
Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) is modulated by ionic‐strength‐dependent hydration shell compression. A predictive model connects shell thickness to non‐radiative damping and spectral shifts over seven orders of magnitude.

A normal form for excitable media
We present a normal form for travelling waves in one-dimensional excitable media in form of a differential delay equation. The normal form is built around the well-known saddle-node bifurcation generically present in excitable media.

Pulsating waves in nonlinear magnetoconvection [PDF]
Numerical experiments on compressible magnetoconvection reveal a new type of periodic oscillation, associated with alternating streaming motion. Analogous behaviour in a Boussinesq fluid is constrained by extra symmetry.

Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

Rapid Deep Vat Printing Using Photoclickable Collagen‐Based Bioresins
Collagen‐based resin formulations based on thiol‐ene photoclick chemistry are demonstrated. These resins enable easy handleability under neutral conditions and further allow facile fabrication of multicellular tissue constructs via tomographic or FLight printing.

Self--motion of camphor discs. model and analysis
In the present paper, a model describing the self-motion of acamphor disc on water is proposed. The stability of a standingcamphor disc is investigated by analyzing the model equation, anda pitchfork type bifurcation diagram of a traveling spot is shown ...
