Gut‐microbiota‐brain Axis and post‐traumatic epilepsy
Abstract There has been growing evidence that perturbations in gut‐microbiota‐brain axis (GMBA) are involved in mechanisms of chronic sequelae of traumatic brain injury (TBI). This review discusses the connection between GMBA and post‐traumatic epilepsy (PTE), the latter being a common outcome of TBI.

ABSTRACT Oat bran (OB), a byproduct of the oat milling process, is a nutrient‐dense cereal cultivated in cool, dry mountainous regions and is known for its potential health benefits. To explore its obesity‐alleviating effects and the underlying mechanisms, we examined the influence of OB on glucose metabolism, appetite‐regulating hormones, gut ...

Characterization of tachykinin NK2 receptor in the anterior pituitary gland
Tachykinins are a family of bioactive peptides that interact with three subtypes of receptors: NK1, NK2 and NK3. Substance P has greater affinity for NK1, and neurokinin A (NKA) for NK2 receptor subtype. Although only NK1 receptor has been characterized in the anterior pituitary gland, some evidence suggests the existence of NK2 receptors in this gland.

Fertility and Early Embryonic Development Toxicity of hzVSF‐v13 in Sprague–Dawley Rats
ABSTRACT Humanized virus suppressing factor–variant 13 (hzVSF‐v13), a monoclonal IgG4 antibody, is a potential therapeutic candidate for COVID‐19. Although fertility and embryonic developmental toxicity studies are crucial for the safety evaluation of new drugs, the toxicological profile of hzVSF‐v13 remains unexplored.

ACT001 Inhibits Tumor Progression and Modulates Immune Responses in Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer
ACT001, a novel small‐molecule inhibitor, demonstrates significant antitumoral and immunomodulatory effects in NSCLC by inhibiting cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, inducing cell cycle arrest, and suppressing tumor growth. Mechanistically, it targets STAT1/STAT3, reduces PD‐L1 expression, and enhances granzyme B release in CD3+ T cells ...
