Chromogranin A in pituitary adenomas: immunohistochemical detection and plasma concentrations.
Forty one pituitary adenomas excised surgically were immunostained to reveal pituitary hormones and chromogranin A (CgA). In 23 patients, plasma CgA concentration was determined before surgery by ELISA method.
