A Data Hiding Method based on Multi-predictor and Pixel Value Ordering
2016Pixel Value Ordering (PVO) is a commonly-used method for reversible data hiding. PVO divides a cover image into non-overlapping blocks and the minimum and maximum values in a block are used to embed the secret data. The visual quality and embedding capacity of the PVO method is closely related to the size of the blocks.

High-Capacity Reversible Data Hiding Using Modified Pixel Value Ordering Approach
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2018The proposed reversible data hiding technique is the extension of Peng et al.’s technique [F. Peng, X. Li and B. Yang, Improved PVO-based reversible data hiding, Digit. Signal Process. 25 (2014) 255–265]. In this technique, a cover image is segmented into nonoverlapping blocks of equal size. Each block is sorted in ascending order and then differences

Rate-Distortion Analysis of an Improved Pixel Value Ordering based Reversible Embedding
2017 2nd International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE), 2017This paper presents an improvement of a prominent Pixel Value Ordering (PVO)-based Reversible Data Hiding (RDH) scheme. We started with analyzing the rate-distortion performance of the scheme for different neighborhood pixels. Particularly, unlike an image block with horizontal neighborhood pixels considered in that scheme, we proposed a set of blocks ...

Advanced Center-Folding based Reversible Hiding Scheme with Pixel Value Ordering
2016Dual image techniques have been broadly applied to reversible information hiding in recent years. Center folding strategy proposed by Lu et al. in 2015 compresses the secret symbol and then utilizes averaging to embed it into two stego-images. This effectively sustains the image quality and achieves a high embedding capacity with relatively little ...
