In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

Comparison Of Reversible Image Watermarking Methods Based On Prediction-Errors
This study compares two reversible imagewatermarking algorithms applied to a digital image. The first algorithm is amethod based on adaptive watermarking of prediction-errors.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

A High-Capacity Reversible Watermarking Technique Using Bit-Level Expansion and Pixel Shifting
This paper proposes a high-capacity reversible watermarking method using adaptive bit-level expansion and pixel-class-guided shifting. Pixels are classified into expandable (P0) and non-expandable (P1) according to their 2-bit LSB patterns, and a ...

A New Bi-Level Encoding and Decoding Scheme for Pixel Expansion Based Visual Cryptography
Mapping of image-based object textures to ASCII characters can be a new modification towards visual cryptography. Naor and Shamir proposed a new dimension of Information security as visual cryptography which is a secret sharing scheme among N number of ...

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

High‐quality reversible data hiding scheme using sorting and enhanced pairwise PEE
This paper proposes a novel reversible data hiding (RDH) technique using sorting and pairwise prediction error expansion (PEE) to improve embedding capacity (EC) while retaining the quality of cover image.

DMD-based diffractive FOV expansion for real-time flash lidar with 2D multi-pixel photon counter
We demonstrated a real-time lidar system that utilizes a Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) as a field of view (FOV) expander and a 2D Multi-Pixel Photon Counter (MPPC) as a lidar sensor.

Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...
