Development of selective PKM2 and PARP1 inhibitors

The aim of the project is to find novel selenium-containing anticancer drug candidates in the Unmet Medical Need category. The starting point for the project is our recently discovered hit compound, a selective pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2) (IC50 = 350 nM) and poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase-1 (PARP1) (IC50 = 250 nM) inhibitor.
