The multidrug and toxin extrusion (MATE) transporter DTX51 antagonizes non‐cell‐autonomous HLS1–AMP1 signaling in a region‐specific manner

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Arabidopsis mutants hls1 hlh1 and amp1 lamp1 exhibit pleiotropic developmental phenotypes. Although the functions of the causative genes remain unclear, they act in the same genetic pathway and are thought to generate non‐cell‐autonomous signals.

Аbout use of ancient weathering crusts formation during diamond-prospecting works

open access: yesМінеральні ресурси України, 2021
Complex research of Late Devonian – Early Carboniferous and Middle-Late Triassic weathering crusts on various rocks (terrigenous-carbonate formations, dolerites, tuffs, tuffaceous formations and kimberlites) indicated that in conditions of warm and humid

Ergothioneine supplementation improves pup phenotype and survival in a murine model of spinal muscular atrophy

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a genetic disease affecting motor neurons. Individuals with SMA experience mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of an antioxidant and neuroprotective substance, ergothioneine (ERGO), on an SMNΔ7 mouse model of SMA.

Material characteristic of Vetvisty creek placer gold and prospects for atypical-source deposits in the middle course of the Selennyakh river (Momsky and Abyisky district, Yakutia)

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Геология и разведка
Background. The lower-middle course of the Selennyakh River in the Momsky and Abyisky districts of the Republic of Sakha, Yakutia, is characterized by a wide distribution of alluvial gold placers. The absence of obvious potential primary sources of these

Structural dynamics of the plant hormone receptor ETR1 in a native‐like membrane environment

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The present study unveils the structural and signaling dynamics of ETR1, a key plant ethylene receptor. Using an optimized nanodisc system and solution NMR, we captured full‐length ETR1 in a native‐like membrane environment. Our findings reveal dynamic domain uncoupling and Cu(I)‐induced rigidification, providing the first evidence of metal‐triggered ...

A working model for cytoplasmic assembly of H/ACA snoRNPs

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Dyskerin is the component of nuclear H/ACA ribonucleoproteins (RNPs) endowed with pseudouridine synthase catalytic activity. Two isoforms of human dyskerin have been characterized: the abundant Iso1, mainly nuclear, and the shorter Iso3, mainly cytoplasmic but occasionally imported into nuclei.

C9orf72 ALS‐causing mutations lead to mislocalization and aggregation of nucleoporin Nup107 into stress granules

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mutations in the C9orf72 gene represent the most common genetic cause of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a fatal neurodegenerative disease. Using patient‐derived neurons and C. elegans models, we find that the nucleoporin Nup107 is dysregulated in C9orf72‐associated ALS. Conversely, reducing Nup107 levels mitigates disease‐related changes.

Valorization of waste from old gold mining in the south of the Russian Far East using pyro-hydrometallurgy methods [PDF]

open access: yesBIO Web of Conferences
The basics of the original technology for the development of man-made placers in the south of the Russian Far East have been developed. The necessity of using methods of hydrodifluoride conversion, hydrometallurgy, fluoride autopsy is substantiated.

From lactation to malignancy: A comparison between healthy and cancerous breast gland at single‐cell resolution reveals new issues for tumorigenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Single‐cell RNA sequencing reveals an opposite role of SLPI in basal tumors based on metastatic spread, along with shared activation of specific regulons in cancer cells and mature luminal lactocytes, as well as downregulation of MALAT1 and NEAT1 in the latter.
