Model‐Guided Systematic Metabolic Engineering for Enhanced Spinosad Biosynthesis in Saccharopolyspora spinosa NHF132

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A genome‐scale model guided the systematic metabolic engineering of Saccharopolyspora spinosa, enabling a 5.5‐fold boost in the green bioinsecticide spinosad to 1.8 g L−1 and establishing an actinomycete framework for complex natural products overproduction.

Alkaline–Acid Intestine Environment Controlled by A Carbonic Anhydrase Gene Influences Synthesis of Sex Pheromone by Symbionts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A model proposing that elevated rectal expression of CAh1 in males alkalinizes the environment to regulate Bacillus production of a male‐specific sex pheromone. Abstract The intricate interplay between animals and their intestinal microbes is pivotal in shaping various aspects of animal biology.

Friction‐Assisted Liquid Metal‐Driven Anchoring of Low Redox Potential Metal Ions for Enhanced Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Friction‐assisted liquid metal resolves the thermodynamic‐kinetic dilemma of low reduction potential (LRP) ions through shear‐induced electron generation, enabling efficient LRP reduction/anchoring while suppressing parasitic reactions. This approach synthesizes InGaZn5O8 crystals with unique electronic configurations, achieving a 5.92 GHz effective ...

Ultra‐Robust Conductive Hydrogels Enabled by a Gradient Bond‐Breaking Pseudo‐Drying Strategy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bioinspired PVA‐ANFs hydrogel, engineered via novel gradient bond‐breaking, achieves unprecedented mechanical performance: ultrahigh strength (≈18 MPa), modulus (≈12 MPa), toughness (≈74 MJ/m3), and record fracture energy (≈269 kJ m−2). It exhibits cryogenic flexibility (−70°C), high ionic conductivity (936.3 mS m−1), and biocompatibility.
