Plan, Do, Check, Act: The Deming or Shewhart Cycle
1999One framework for finding solutions to problems is the Deming Cycle, which was originally introduced by W. Edwards Deming and further conceptualized by Walter A. Shewhart. The cycle consists of four stages, referred to as Plan, Do, Check , and Act (PDCA). Using the PDCA cycle ensures an orderly approach to problem solving.
