Plan recognition in verbmobil

2011
Verbmobil, a speech to speech translation system, poses new and challenging tasks for a dialogue component. We present a part of the dialogue component of verbmobil: a robust plan recognizer that processes all of the over 200 dialogues of the verbmobil corpus.

A conditional logic for planning and plan recognition

Proceedings of ANZIIS '94 - Australian New Zealnd Intelligent Information Systems Conference, 2002
In much work in reasoning about action, an action is modelled as a function over world states. In this paper, we consider planning and plan recognition from the point of view of an approach to modelling actions as primitive semantic objects occurring in the situations of situation semantics. We argue that constraints as captured in a hierarchy of types

Plan recognition for decision support

IEEE Expert, 1996
The author proposes a knowledge-level model for keyhole plan recognition. This model supports knowledge acquisition needed for plan recognition by making explicit and structuring, at an implementation-independent level, the relationships among the types of knowledge and the elements of the reasoning process involved in that knowledge.

Student modelling using plan recognition

Intelligent Tutoring Media, 1991
Abstract We present a student modelling approach based on plan recognition methods. In some domains, like theorem proving, the student's activity can be seen as consisting of the formation of plans (the proofs) and the execution of actions (the proof steps).

Plan Recognition in Instrumented Environments

2009
Plan recognition is the process of inferring a user's plans and goals by observing her behavior. With their sensors, instrumented environments provide a good infrastructure for the application of plan recognition, and in return can benefit from plan recognition knowledge by better supporting their users.
