Rotary 3D Printing With Integrated Electroplating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A rotary material extrusion platform integrates localized copper electroplating with printing and encapsulation to fabricate cylindrical polymer–metal structures containing fully embedded, low‐resistance conductive pathways that enable internal Joule heating and thermally activated shape‐memory responses.

A Multi‐Scale Machine Learning Framework for the Inverse Design of High Entropy Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
High‐entropy alloys offer vast potential for various applications, including electrocatalysis; however, their compositional complexity challenges conventional screening. We introduce an inverse‐design framework combining two neural networks to determine optimal compositions and reconstruct nanoparticle geometry from targeted properties and conventional

Synthesis of sparse rectangular planar arrays with weight function and improved grey wolf optimization algorithm

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation
The present article proposes a novel hybrid approach for addressing the synthesis problem of rectangular planar arrays under multiple constraints, through joint optimization of the weight function and the improved grey wolf optimization (IGWO) algorithm.

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

A Fully Planar Feeding Network for Excitation of Series-Fed Dual-Polarized Antenna Arrays With Even Number of Radiating Elements

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper presents a method to design series-fed (SF) dual-polarized antenna arrays. The proposed antenna arrays consist of $nm$ radiating elements placed in $n \times m$ grid, where $n$ and $m$ are arbitrary even numbers.

Fully Additive Vertical Organic Electrochemical Transistors on Renewable and Compostable Substrates Enable Ultrasensitive Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fully additive vertical organic electrochemical transistors (vOECTs) with channel‐length of 226 nm on a 50 µm compostable substrate achieve >106 current modulation and ∼36 mS transconductance. Ion‐selective integration enables 1.1 mA dec−1 sensitivity and 36 µm detection limit, highlighting a scalable platform for sustainable electronics and ...

Single and Double Layer Planar Multiband PIFAs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A compact multiband planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) suitable for distributed radio-over-fiber repeater networks is modified into a planar structure. It is shown that the planar antenna performance is not degraded with respect to the original PIFA and ...

Subarray partition based on sparse array weighted K‐means clustering

open access: yesElectronics Letters
This paper introduces the subarray partition based on the sparse array weighted K‐means clustering method, which extends the conventional K‐means clustering method through the inclusion of a weight matrix approach. This matrix is derived by recording the

Synthesis of Antenna Arrays of Maximum Directivity for a Specified Sidelobe Level

open access: yesIranian Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2021
Linear and planar antenna arrays are synthesized to have maximum directivity for a specified sidelobe level. The directivity is maximized subject to a given SLL. The beamwidth and the zeros of array factor are studied as well as the directivity.
