On the Synthesis of Planar Graphs with Given Properties
The problem of studying the structural properties of planar subgraphs G\v, where v is an arbitrary vertex of a graph G of undirected genus, is considered, using cell chains that connect limit cycles with points of a given set M of the graph G\v.

1-Planarity of Graphs with a Rotation System
A graph is 1-planar if it can be drawn in the plane such that each edge is crossed at most once. 1-planarity is known NP-hard, even for graphs of bounded bandwidth, pathwidth, or treewidth, and for near-planar graphs in which an edge is added to a planar

Let G be a planar n-vertex graph with non-negative vertex weights which sum to no more than 1. It is proved that G can be recursively separated into components of weight \(\leq \epsilon\) by removing \(4\sqrt{n/\epsilon}\) vertices. Applications to planar graphs with given radius are considered.

A gas‐fed, zero‐gap, PEM CO2 electrolyzer is realized by incorporating PDDA+ ions onto the carbonaceous Co/N‐C electrocatalyst, with gaseous H2 and CO2 fed into the anode and cathode, respectively. Operating without an aqueous electrolyte, the system sustains a peak FECO of 65.1% at 100 mA cm−2. ABSTRACT Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction (ECO2R)

DP-4-Colorability on Planar Graphs Excluding 7-Cycles Adjacent to 4- or 5-Cycles
In order to resolve Borodin’s Conjecture, DP-coloring was introduced in 2017 to extend the concept of list coloring. In previous works, it is proved that every planar graph without 7-cycles and butterflies is DP-4-colorable.

Cell therapies typically rely on cold‐chain logistics and cryopreservation, limiting access and compromising cell quality. Here, a dual‐chamber device separates an oxygen‐supplying chamber from a hyaluronic acid cargo chamber, sustaining oxygen delivery for over 70 h and enabling ambient‐temperature shipment.

This study presents a magneto‐mechanical strategy that incorporates FP@MSCs into an aligned PCL/GelMA nerve guidance conduit. Magnetic stimulation increases membrane tension in FP@MSCs, triggering cytoskeletal remodeling, Schwann cell‐like differentiation, and TIMP1 secretion. TIMP1 activates ITGB1/CD63–FAK signaling in NE‐4C cells, increasing membrane

Charting Morphotoxicity With Complementary Embryo Models
Three human embryo models of the peri‐implantation stages are exposed to a library of compounds. The (toxic) effects of the compounds are analyzed through automated image analysis pipelines. By evaluating the differential responses of the embryo models, this study underscores the importance of testing complementary embryo models to achieve robust and ...

On Upward-Planar L-Drawings of Graphs
In an upward-planar L-drawing of a directed acyclic graph (DAG) each edge $e=(v,w)$ is represented as a polyline composed of a vertical segment with its lowest endpoint at the tail $v$ of $e$ and of a horizontal segment ending at the head $w$ of $e ...
