Integrated Field‐Free SOT Domain‐Wall Synapses and MTJ Stochastic Neurons for Hardware Boltzmann Machines

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Field‐free spin‐orbit torque domain‐wall synapses integrated with stochastic MTJ neurons enable compact hardware Boltzmann machines. Leveraging intrinsic stochasticity and multi‐level conductance, the system achieves efficient probabilistic learning with high accuracy, demonstrating a scalable spintronic platform for energy‐efficient edge AI.

A Vector Bond Graph Method of Dynamics Modeling for Planar Multi-body Systems with Grooved Sheave

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2017
In order to increase the reliability and efficiency of the dynamics modeling and analysis for complex planar multi-body systems containing grooved sheave, the corresponding vector bond graph procedure is proposed.

Decomposing a Planar Graph into Degenerate Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Theory, Series B, 1995
A graph \(G\) is \(k\)-degenerate if every subgraph of \(G\) has a vertex of degree less than \(k\). The author proves that the vertex set of any planar graph can be decomposed into two sets such that one of them induces a 3-degenerate graph and the other induces a 2-degenerate graph.

k-Quasi-Planar Graphs

open access: yes, 2012
A topological graph is k-quasi-planar if it does not contain k pairwise crossing edges. A topological graph is simple if every pair of its edges intersect at most once (either at a vertex or at their intersection).

Triangle-Free Planar Graphs as Segments Intersection Graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We prove that every triangle-free planar graph is the graph of intersection of a set of segments in the plane. Moreover, the segments can be chosen in only three directions (horizontal, vertical and oblique) and in such a way that no two segments cross ...

Structure‐Guided Dynamical Mechanics in Bioinspired Double Twisted Laminated Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores a dynamic mechanistic study of crack propagation and puncture testing via real‐time monitoring of crack initiation, propagation, and termination through nature‐inspired single and double twisted architectures fabricated from cellulose nanocrystals.

Planarization of Clustered Graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We propose a planarization algorithm for clustered graphs and experimentally test its efficiency and effectiveness. Further, we integrate our planarization strategy into a complete topology-shape-metrics algorithm for drawing clustered graphs in the orthogonal drawing convention.

Engineering MnNiPx Cathode via Dual Role of Mn: Simultaneous Enhancement of Activity and Intermittent Operation Durability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Engineering MnNiPx cathodes through the dual role of Mn simultaneously improves hydrogen evolution reaction activity and intermittent‐operation durability. Mn preferentially oxidizes to protect Ni–P sites from irreversible oxidation, while metallic Mn incorporation enhances the HER kinetics of Ni–P active layer.
