Microstructure, Thermal Transport, and Dry‐Sliding Tribology of Powder‐Metallurgy Al7075 Composites Reinforced With Sol–Gel‐Derived ZnO–rGO Hybrid Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Sol–gel‐derived ZnO–rGO hybrid nanoparticles enable Al7075 powder‐metallurgy composites to achieve concurrent gains in hardness and thermal conductivity while markedly lowering friction and wear. The hybrid architecture couples ZnO‐based load support with rGO‐assisted lamellar sliding and heat spreading, revealing a promising route toward lightweight ...

Advanced Electron Microscopy and Microcomputed Tomography Analysis of Single‐Crystal Ni‐Base Superalloys After Short‐Term Multiaxial Creep

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work studies the anisotropic behavior of circular notched tensile specimens of Ni‐base superalloy single crystals during high‐temperature tensile creep along [001], [110], and [111]. Correlative scale‐bridging imaging of specimens reveals early rupture along [110] because 1) plastic deformation proceeds faster at notch center; 2) more (brittle ...

Maintaining Triconnected Components under Node Expansion

open access: yesComputing in Geometry and Topology
SPQR-trees model the decomposition of a biconnected graph into triconnected components. In this paper, we study the problem of dynamically maintaining an SPQR-tree while expanding vertices into arbitrary biconnected graphs. This allows us to efficiently

1-(Adamantan-1-yl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-oneCAS 174315-56-1.

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2012
The title molecule, C20H24O2, is a chalconoid derivative in which the keto–enone group is slightly distorted from planarity; the O=C—C=C torsion angle is 12.24 (13)°.

Hybrid Metal–Carbon Ink for Printed Stretchable Temperature Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We prepare conductive inks for temperature sensing with silver flakes and carbon or graphite flakes in a silicone elastomer matrix. Silver dominates the temperature‐dependent conductivity, while the carbon filler network ensures the stability of the conductive pathways and retains function under strain.

Minkowski t-Graph and Kendall τ-Graph of the Symmetric Group [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Group Theory and Applications
This paper presents the construction and some characterisation of the Minkowski t-graph and Kendall τ-graph of the symmetric group of degree n. Further, we demonstrate some properties of this graph associated with its connectedness, bipartition ...

High‐Resolution Corrosion Fingerprinting of Alloy Libraries via Microdroplet Spectroelectrochemistry

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Ionic‐liquid microdroplet spectroelectrochemistry enables stable, localized electrochemical measurements over extended timescales. By coupling impedance spectroscopy, wetting analysis, finite‐element simulations, and operando Raman spectroscopy, it disentangles geometrical and electrochemical effects, opening new opportunities for rapid corrosion ...
