Analysis of Dynamical Behavior of a Planetary Gear Train

A lumped-parameter model of a single-stage planetary gear train, which included the factors of the floating motion of the centroid of the sun gear, time-varying mesh stiffness, gear meshing transmission errors and gear backlashes, was established. The non-dimensional motion equations of system were solved by the method of numerical integration.
