[001]‐oriented Sb2Se3 film with improved crystallinity and adjusted composition is achieved via a new thermal treatment approach consisting of preliminary annealing of the Sb layer before its selenization. The findings of this work demonstrate enhanced charge carriers' transportation, a stable performance, and an improvement of H2 generation from ...

STATISTICS OF LONG PERIOD GAS GIANT PLANETS IN KNOWN PLANETARY SYSTEMS [PDF]
We conducted a Doppler survey at Keck combined with NIRC2 K-band adaptive optics (AO) imaging to search for massive, long-period companions to 123 known exoplanet systems with one or two planets detected using the radial velocity (RV) method.

Wood‐based broadband blackbody is achieved by reconfiguration of wood with lignin nanoparticles prior carbonization. Neglectable reflectivity from the visible to infrared wavelengths is obtained by combining thin nanostructures originated from the wood cell walls with long‐range microcavities in the wood lumina.

The dynamical fate of planetary systems in young star clusters [PDF]
We carry out N-body simulations to examine the effects of dynamical interactions on planetary systems in young open star clusters. We explore how the planetary populations in these star clusters evolve, and how this evolution depends on the initial ...

The formation of planetary systems [PDF]
In an embedded cluster, with high stellar densities, interactions can occur between stars and either newly formed diffuse protostars or high-density regions produced by the collision of turbulent elements. It is shown by smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) modelling that interactions can occur in which the complete protostar, or high-density region ...

Oscillations of relative inclination angles in compact extrasolar planetary systems [PDF]
The Kepler Mission has detected dozens of compact planetary systems with more than four transiting planets. This sample provides a collection of close-packed planetary systems with relatively little spread in the inclination angles of the inferred orbits.
