The Global Warming Potential of Geoengineering via Radiative Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
The cooling power of engineered radiative cooling materials is determined and compared to conventional construction and roofing materials and Earth's natural surfaces. Results show if 1% of Earth's surface are to be covered with state‐of‐the‐art radiative cooling materials the terrestrial radiative forcing would decrease by 1.61 W·m−2 (from 0.6 to −1 ...

Reinforcing the Strategy: Enhanced Efficiency of Electrospun PVDF Hybrid Nanocomposites‐Based Triboelectric Nanogenerators with p‐NiO/n‐ZnO Interfaces for Energy Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
This study presents high‐performance PVDF‐based triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) enhanced with NiO–ZnO bimetallic nanoparticles. The optimized PN7/Z‐0.5 composite achieves remarkable energy harvesting efficiency, significantly outperforming pristine PVDF.

High‐Entropy Alloys and Oxides as Supercapacitor Electrodes: A Structural and Electrochemical Perspective for Energy Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
This study compares the electrochemical performance of high‐entropy alloys (HEA) and oxides (HEO) as supercapacitor electrodes. HEO demonstrates superior energy and power density due to its capacitive behavior and surface redox reactions, while HEA relies on diffusion‐controlled processes.

Unveiling the Capacity Boosting Mechanism of the MoS2 Electrode by Focusing on the Under Potential Deposition in All‐Solid‐State Batteries Prepared by One‐Pot One‐Step Liquid Phase Mixing

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
MoS2 electrodes with high dispersion for solid‐state rechargeable batteries is successfully fabricated by using one‐pot one‐step liquid‐phase mixing methods, which realize exfoliating MoS2, synthesizing solid electrolytes, and compositing with conductive agents in a single step. And underpotentially deposited lithium metal is observed onto the metallic
