Stabilizing Electrochemical Interfaces With Multifunctional Cobalt Nitride Layers
Cobalt nitrides emerged recently as an interesting class of earth‐abundant oxygen evolution catalysts. Herein, plasma‐enhanced atomic layer deposition is used to synthesize multifunctional cobalt nitride layers that simultaneously protect and catalytically activate photoelectrode surfaces.

The Formation, Structure and Evolution of Terrestrial Planets
The final stage in the growth of terrestrial planets is marked by high-energy collisions between planetary bodies, called giant impacts. Giant impacts melt and vaporize the silicate mantles of the impacting bodies, and planets can acquire significant ...

Ultrathin MXene/EMF composite foams achieve a specific shielding efficiency of 749.6 dB.dB·cm3$\mathrm{dB}\cdot {\mathrm{cm}}^{3}$/g, while the silver‐enhanced MXene/Ag/EMF reaches 81.4 dB shielding effectiveness at just 1.0 mm thickness. Both composites exhibit rapid Joule heating, retain stability up to 250∘C$^\circ{\rm C}$, and withstand 1000 ...

Science goals for future exploration of the habitability of the gaseous giant planets' satellites
International audienceLarge satellites of the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn, at orbits beyond the snow-line and the traditional "habitability zone", have been revealed as extremely astrobiologically interesting bodies presenting promising conditions for ...

Milled polycrystalline NMC811 cathode (MPC NMC) with smaller secondary particle and higher surface area had 1) greater cathode tortuosity, 2) reduced surface Ni on the cycled MPC cathodes consistent with surface reconstruction, and 3) increased Ni deposition from cathode‐anode crosstalk, manifesting in lower functional capacity and higher impedance ...

A semi-analytical model for the formation of Jupiter's satellites in circumplanetary disks
A better understanding of satellite formation processes in a circumplanetary disk (CPD) can bring us closer to a more comprehensive knowledge of the last phases of giant planet formation.

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Topography‐Regulated Screening Platform for Myoblast Contact Guidance
This study develops a topography‐regulated screening platform (12 gradients in 96‐topography‐well plate) enabling analysis of skeletal muscle morphogenesis. The topography‐induced cell morphology changed, cell polarization, and myotube differentiation, establishing an evaluative framework for generating pathologically relevant myotube phenotypes to ...

Giant planets and their satellites: What are the relationships between their properties and how they formed [PDF]
The giant planet region in our solar system appears to be bounded inside by the limit of water condensation, suggesting that the most abundant astrophysical condensate plays an important role in giant planet formation.
