A COMPARISON OF INPUT-OUTPUT MODELS:GHOSH REDUCES TO LEONTIEF (BUT 'CLOSING' GHOSH MAKES IT MORE PLAUSIBLE) [PDF]

open access: yes
Ghosh's model is discussed in this paper under two alternative scenarios. In an open version we compare it with Leontief's model and prove that they reduce to each other under some specific productive conditions.

Anomalous Pressure‐Temperature Ultrahigh Sensitivities in Atomically Engineered Carbonitride MXenes for Multifunctional Wearable Human–Machine Interfaces: Joint Computational–Experimental Elucidations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 44, 1 June 2026.
Atomically engineered layered 2D Ti3CNTz carbonitride MXene exhibits ultrahigh heat and pressure sensitivity, enabling dual‐mode sensors with 300%–400% performance enhancement and durability for real‐time health‐monitoring interface devices. Precise nitrogen incorporation (e.g., Ti3C1.8N0.2Tz) boosts conductivity, enhancing temperature response, while ...

Leisure Externalities: Implications for Growth and Welfare [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper develops a neoclassical growth model with leisure externalities. Ignoring positive (negative) leisure externalities leads to equilibrium consumption, labor and capital that are too high (low) and leisure that is too low (high).

Dispensing Volumetric Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 44, 1 June 2026.
Dispensing volumetric additive manufacturing (DVAM) prints 3D structures inside a photocurable resin droplet suspended from the tip of a glass pipette, enabling sequential printing without resin vats or manual part removal. Real‐time droplet profiling and ray‐tracing‐based correction compensate for optical distortion at the curved resin‐air interface ...

Ultrasmall Platinum Nanoparticles for Radiation‐Enhanced Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 45, 5 June 2026.
This work proposes a nanomedicine‐based strategy to enhance X‐ray radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Ultrasmall Pt‐NPs exhibit catalase‐like activity that may contribute to modulation of the tumor microenvironment and amplify interactions between radiation and biological matter, leading to increased DNA damage.

Fast Charge–Discharge of LiNi0.9Co0.05Mn0.05 Enabled by a Bikitaite‐Infused Separator for Li Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A bikitaite‐infused cellulose separator is introduced for Li metal batteries, leveraging bikitaite zeolite's ion‐conductive properties to regulate Li+‐ion flux and suppress dendrite growth. The membrane design ensures uniform Li plating, enhanced electrolyte wettability, and robust thermal/mechanical stability, delivering stable performance and low ...
