Plant order reduction for controller design [PDF]
Two dual methods of plant order reduction for controller design are proposed for linear, time-invariant, multi-input multi-output systems. The model reduction methods are tailored towards closed-loop stability and performance and they yield estimates for the stability robustness and performance of the final design.

Complementarity in both plant and mycorrhizal fungal communities are not necessarily increased by diversity in the other [PDF]
1.Higher species diversity can improve community performance within a species guild when different species complement each other in their use of the available niche, such as through resource partitioning.

Modulation of the Root Microbiome by Plant Molecules: The Basis for Targeted Disease Suppression and Plant Growth Promotion [PDF]
Plants host a mesmerizing diversity of microbes inside and around their roots, known as the microbiome. The microbiome is composed mostly of fungi, bacteria, oomycetes, and archaea that can be either pathogenic or beneficial for plant health and fitness.

N6-methyladenosine RNA modification regulates strawberry fruit ripening in an ABA-dependent manner
Background Epigenetic mark such as DNA methylation plays pivotal roles in regulating ripening of both climacteric and non-climacteric fruits. However, it remains unclear whether mRNA m6A methylation, which has been shown to regulate ripening of the ...

The Use of Plants That Stand Out with Their Odor in the Design of Disabled People (A Case of Ankara)
Aesthetic and functional uses of plants are of great importance in landscaping. However, in most designs, aesthetics come to the fore. This situation prevents some very important characteristics of plants from coming to the fore.

Nitrogen nutrition contributes to plant fertility by affecting meiosis initiation
Nitrogen deficiency can cause floral abortion during reproductive development of rice. Here the authors show that when nitrogen is limited, rice plants require the ETFβ protein, which is involved in branched chain amino acid catabolism, to promote ...
