Semi‐Crystalline Ruthenium Catalyst for Zero‐Drag Hydrogen Production from Hybrid Alkaline Seawater Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tune metal‐support interaction to induce formation of crystalline/amorphous Ru interface towards zero‐drag hydrogen generation from hybrid alkaline seawater electrolysis. Abstract Hydrazine‐assisted hybrid alkaline seawater electrolysis offers a dual‐functional platform for environmentally benign remediation of toxic hydrazine and energy‐autonomous ...

Electrochemical CO2 Reduction on Janus Dual‐Atom Catalysts: Critical Role of Oxygen Coordination and an Effective Descriptor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Janus dual‐atom catalysts (DACs) with N3O3 hybrid coordination are designed with different combination of metal sites. Compared to normal DACs, most Janus DACs favor CH3OH or CH4 production over CO, driven by enhanced initial CO2 hydrogenation and stronger CO adsorption.

Alternative Models for Anticancer Drug Discovery From Natural Products Using Binary Tumor‐Microenvironment‐on‐a‐Chip

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a binary tumor‐microenvironment‐on‐a‐chip (T‐MOC) system incorporating multicellular tumor spheroids (MCTs) as an alternative preclinical platform to evaluate the efficacy of anticancer natural products. The T‐MOC model reproduces in vivo drug delivery barriers and physiological conditions, enabling morphological analysis to predict

Highly Efficient Catalysis of Sulfur Reduction Reaction: 3d10‐Based Catalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Taking Cu and Zn, two typical 3d10 metal elements, as an entry point, this paper reviews the application of Cu‐based materials, Zn‐based materials and their Cu‐Zn‐based materials in accelerating the sulfur reduction reaction of lithium‐sulfur batteries, which can effectively alleviate the three major problems faced by lithium‐sulfur battery cathodes ...
