Positively Charged Polymer‐Brush MOFs for Large‐Area, Pressure‐Resistant Gas Separation Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A universal POPA strategy enables positively charged polymer‐brush MOFs with self‐adaptive interfacial interlocking to resist aggregation under fast processing. This design ensures seamless dispersion within large‐area selective layers, achieving 1 m‐wide roll‐to‐roll fabrication of pressure‐resistant MMCMs with tunable CO2 separation performance ...

A Nano‐Interception Strategy for Chronic Heart Failure: Prussian Blue Nanoparticles Disrupt Fibroblast‐Immune Communication via CCL2 Sequestration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A nano‐interception strategy disrupts pathogenic fibroblast–macrophage crosstalk in chronic heart failure. Scalable Prussian blue nanoparticles selectively sequester CCL2 via ultrahigh‐affinity binding, preventing CCR2+ macrophage recruitment and breaking a key fibro‐inflammatory circuit. This approach demonstrates robust efficacy in murine and porcine

Embryonic mortality and abortion in goats caused by ingestion of Poincianella pyramidalis

open access: yesPesquisa Veterinária Brasileira
: This study aimed to characterize the embryotoxic, teratogenic and abortifacient effect of Poincianella pyramidalis in goats. Twenty pregnant goats with 18 days of gestation were divided into five groups of four animals each.

The emergence of international food safety standards and guidelines: understanding the current landscape through a historical approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Following the Second World War, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) teamed up to construct an International Codex Alimentarius (or 'food code') which emerged in 1963.

Electrolyte‐Induced Interfacial/Bulk Dual Regulation Enables Negligible Capacity Decay in Li‐Rich Cathodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work report a n electrolyte‑induced interfacial/bulk dual regulation strategy that enables negligible capacity decay in li‑rich cathodes. ABSTRACT Lithium‐rich manganese‐based oxides (LRMO) suffer from rapid capacity decay, mainly driven by interfacial instability and bulk structural degradation associated with Jahn‐Teller (J‐T) distortion in Mn3+‐

Recent Progress in the Phase‐Controlled Synthesis of Ruthenium Nanocrystals for Catalytic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Template effect and kinetic control enable crystal‐phase engineering of Ru nanocrystals, granting access to either metastable fcc‐Ru or stable hcp‐Ru with distinct surface structures, thermal stabilities, and catalytic behaviors. Moreover, the hcp‐Ru can further serve as an epitaxial template to direct Pd and Rh nanocrystals into the metastable hcp ...

Pulsed Electrolysis Prevents Sulfur Poisoning for Sustained Sulfide Valorization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Integrating pulsed electrolysis with Sc‐doped NiFe‐LDH enables sustainable sulfide valorization, achieving >500 h stability, 99.8% efficiency. Moreover, this technology produces high‐purity sulfur and sodium formate, boosting profit by 121% to $1,294.7 per tonne of hydrogen.
