Corn Planting Date and Plant Population

Journal of Production Agriculture, 1994
Predictions of yield responses to planting date and plant population in corn (Zea mays L.) are necessary in order to match plant population to a particular planting date, and also to make replant decisions. Much of the published research on these factors is relatively old.

Plant Growth and Population Dynamics

The main purpose of quantitative nematological research is twofold. First, to develop mathematical models that contribute to theory building. Second, for farmers, to achieve optimal financial returns of crops in the presence of plant-parasitic nematodes.

Plant population ecology

2000
Identification of an endangered species is not a trivial task. Information on some species is so limited that it is impossible to tell if they are threatened: indeed, it is likely that there are many species, particularly in the tropics, whose existence will never be known.

Plant Population Ecology

1994
In Central Europe plant population ecology as a relatively young science is receiving more and more interest among ecologists. The recently published book on population ecology by Schmid and Stocklin (1991) and the textbook of Urbanska (1992), both in German, illustrate this.

Plant population genetics

2000
Over the last decade, there has been an exponential growth in interest and investigation of the problem of how best to conserve populations of endangered species. As a result, there is now a very extensive and widely scattered literature on this subject.

Equilibrium in the Population of the Plants

2019
On the basis Mendel's experiments, a mathematical model is constructed that describes the results of these experiments in a wide range of parameters. This model is compared with the Hardy-Weinberg logistic model based only on probabilistic ideas about the presence of dominant and recessive alleles in the chromosomes of living organisms.
