Determination of the influence of herbicides on dicotyledons plant transpiration using the sap flow method

open access: yesPlant, Soil and Environment, 2014
Physiological parameters are sensitive and provide information on the toxicity of herbicides in plants. The impact of herbicide application on plant transpiration was evaluated by the sap flow method during 2009-2011.

Euromaidan and Ukrainian Subjective Well‐Being

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Social Psychology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The 2013–2014 Euromaidan in Ukraine was the largest series of pro‐European protests in history. Peaceful civilian protests were met with state violence, resulting in widespread civil unrest, over 100 deaths, and nearly 2000 injuries. The Russo‐Ukrainian War broke out shortly after. We examined the immediate and long‐term changes in Ukrainians’

Programmable crack dynamics engineering enables flexible strain sensors with high linearity

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
First‐decoupling theoretical framework of crack evolution elucidating the control methods, mechanistic insights, and structure‐activity relationships is established. Crack propagation from uncontrollable randomness systematically evolves into spatially ordered states.

Leaf transpiration of drought tolerant plant can be captured by hyperspectral reflectance using PLSR analysis

open access: yesiForest - Biogeosciences and Forestry, 2016
A clear understanding of plant transpiration is a crucial step for water cycle and climate modeling, especially for arid ecosystems in which water is one of the major constraints. Traditional field measurements of leaf scale transpiration are always time-

Engineering a Multifunctional g‐C3N4/TiO2 Active Packaging Film With Enhanced Barrier and Photocatalytic Properties for Postharvest Preservation of Plum Fruit

open access: yesFuture Postharvest and Food, EarlyView.
The engineered g‐C3N4/TiO2@PVA active packaging film efficiently degrades exogenous ethylene under LED irradiation, effectively suppressing the endogenous ripening pathway of “Wushan” plums. Combined with enhanced barrier properties, this multifunctional film significantly delays the climacteric respiration peak and extends fruit shelf life.

Decoupling of stomatal conductance, transpiration and photosynthesis in terrestrial plants under elevated temperature: a meta-analysis

open access: yesNature Communications
Elevated temperatures pose challenges to stomatal conductance, which regulates transpiration and photosynthesis. However, the coupling of stomatal conductance, transpiration and photosynthesis may shift with warming.
