Effective Motion of a Virus Trafficking Inside a Biological Cell [PDF]
Virus trafficking is fundamental for infection success and plasmid cytosolic trafficking is a key step of gene delivery. Based on the main physical properties of the cellular transport machinery such as microtubules, motor proteins, our goal here is to derive a mathematical model to study cytoplasmic trafficking.

The Regulation of Trace Metal Elements in Cancer Ferroptosis
The induction of ferroptosis inhibits tumor growth, enhances anticancer efficacy, and overcomes drug resistance. Recent evidence shows nonferrous metal elements play a role in ferroptosis. This review focuses on how trace metals regulate ferroptosis processes like iron accumulation, lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant defense.

Plant-Protein-Enabled Biodegradable Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Sustainable Agriculture [PDF]
As the use of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) increases, the generation of related electronic waste has been a major challenge. Therefore, the development of environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and low-cost TENGs must be prioritized. Having discovered that plant proteins, by-products of grain processing, possess excellent triboelectric ...

We develop a one‐step spray coating approach to coat the fluorinated graphene (FG) nanosheet onto the N95 respirators. The spray‐coated superhydrophobic N95 respirators can effectively repel respiratory droplets off instantaneously and prevent SARS‐CoV‐2 virus accumulation on the surface.

Influence of salt and viral protein charge distribution on encapsidation of single-stranded viral RNA molecules [PDF]
We examine the limits on viral composition that are set by the electrostatic interactions effected by the charge on the viral proteins, the single-stranded viral RNA molecule and monovalent salt ions in the solution. Within the mean-field model of viral energetics we demonstrate the prime importance of the salt concentration for the assembly of a virus.

Eurythmic Dancing with Plants -- Measuring Plant Response to Human Body Movement in an Anthroposophic Environment [PDF]
This paper describes three experiments measuring interaction of humans with garden plants. In particular, body movement of a human conducting eurythmic dances near the plants (beetroots, tomatoes, lettuce) is correlated with the action potential measured by a plant SpikerBox, a device measuring the electrical activity of plants, and the leaf movement ...
