Plasma-wall interaction in ATC during high power neutral beam injection [PDF]
Measurements of the elemental composition of the vacuum vessel wall surface and impurity influx into ATC during high power beam-heated discharges are combined with previous measurements of power balance and scaling laws to give a self consistent model of

In normal (nontolerant) cells, CD14 is crucial for both LPS uptake and LPS signaling. In LPS‐tolerant cells, in which LPS‐induced TNF‐α and IFN‐β production is suppressed, there is a dramatic increase in surface CD14 expression. The overexpressed CD14 in LPS‐tolerant cells is responsible for the enhanced LPS uptake without inducing pro‐inflammatory ...

Magnum-psi, a new linear plasma generator for plasma-surface interaction studies in ITER relevant conditions [PDF]
The Magnum-psi project (magnetised plasma generator and numerical modelling for plasma-surface interaction) aims at the fundamental study of plasma-surface interaction processes in conditions relevant to the ITER divertor.

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Objective The objective of this study was to describe the longitudinal disease course and pulmonary outcomes of North American patients with melanoma differentiation–associated protein 5 (MDA5) antibody–associated dermatomyositis (DM). Methods Thirty patients with MDA5 antibody–associated DM were identified in a single‐center longitudinal cohort of 352
