Simulation of the plasma-wall-interaction in a tokamak with the Monte-Carlo code ERO-TEXTOR [PDF]
The interaction of plasma with the walls has been one of the critical issues in the development of fusion energy research. On the one hand, plasma induced erosion can seriously limit the lifetime of the wall components, while, on the other hand, eroded ...

Hierarchical multi‐material TPMS lattices are engineered as flexible tactile sensors by combining soft and stiff elastomeric layers with a conformal conductive coating. The bilayer architecture delivers sensitivity at low pressures while maintaining a broad detectable range under large loads, enabling reliable pressure and vibration monitoring for ...

Spectral and spatial structure of extreme ultraviolet radiation in laser plasma-wall interactions [PDF]
Intense extreme ultraviolet (XUV) radiation was observed during the interaction of low-temperature laser plasmas and wall materials. Laser plasmas with electron temperature Te ~ 40 eV were created on massive solid targets (CF2 and Al) by an excimer KrF ...

Here, two types of electronic components are presented: a strain sensor and a stable resistor. Electrofluids properties are tuned to match these behaviors by selecting the type of filler. We show that the morphology of the filler together with its oxygen content are the key parameters to create electrical and mechanical networks with distinct responses.

Experimental study on metallic impurity behavior with boronization wall conditioning in EAST tokamak
Operation of EAST tokamak with full metal wall without any wall conditioning are attempted in 2023 and 2024 experimental campaign to address the issues related to ITER tungsten wall operation. It is found that H-mode plasma could be sustained even with a
