A brief introduction into the spectroscopy of fusion plasmas is presented. Basic principles of the emission of ionic, atomic and molecular radiation is explained and a survey of the effects, which lead to the population of the respective excited levels, is given. Line radiation, continuum radiation, opacity and line broadening mechanisms are addressed.

From Repeatability to Self-Organization of Guided Streamers Propagating in a Jet of Cold Plasma
In this work, a jet of cold plasma is generated in a device supplied in helium and powered with a high-voltage nanopulse power supply, hence generating guided streamers. We focus on the interaction between these guided streamers and two targets placed in

Insights into PI3K/AKT signaling in B cell development and chronic lymphocytic leukemia
This Review explores how the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase and protein kinase B pathway shapes B cell development and drives chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a common blood cancer. It examines how signaling levels affect disease progression, addresses treatment challenges, and introduces novel experimental strategies to improve therapies and patient outcomes.

Pharmaceutically Active Compound (PhAC) Degradation by Means of Cold Plasma Jet Treatment
The occurrence of emerging micropollutants of pharmaceutically active compounds (PhACs) in the environment poses a public health concern. Due to PhAC persistence and toxicity even at low concentrations, advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) have gained ...
