A Compact Hollow Fiber Electrode Assembly Architecture for Continuous Electrochemical Marine Carbon Dioxide Removal

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A coaxial, membrane‐integrated hollow fiber electrode assembly (HFEA) is developed for continuous marine carbon mineralization. By utilizing a sub‐millimeter inter‐electrode gap, the HFEA minimizes Ohmic losses, achieving 50% energy reduction and over 85% DIC removal.

Solid–liquid equilibria in the LiOH–ethanol–water system: Solubility measurements and thermodynamic modeling

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract The demand for LiOH is driven by the growth of the electric vehicle industry. Evaporative crystallization of LiOH·H2O is energy intensive, whereas ethanol‐based antisolvent crystallization has emerged as a more sustainable alternative. From a process design perspective, the crystallization yield depends on the ethanol dosage, and thermodynamic

Investigation of Analog Memristor Characteristics for Hardware Synaptic Weight in Multilayer Neural Network

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
The systematic design of memristor‐based neural network is provided by analog conductance state parameters to accurately emulate the software‐based high‐resolution weight at discrete device level. The requirement of discrete analog conductance of memristor device is measured as ≈50 states with nonlinearity value of ≈0.142 within the deviation range of ...

Plasma electrolytic oxidation of brass

Surface and Coatings Technology, 2020
Abstract Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is first reported for the non-valve metal of brass. The surface morphology of the PEO-treated brass has been examined, indicating the formation of a porous layer similar to that of PEO of valve metals.

Plasma electrolytic oxidation of coupled light metals

open access: yesTransactions of the IMF, 2013
In order to assess the practicality of plasma electrolytic oxidation of parts consisting of more than one light metal, coupled metals, namely aluminium/AA 7075 aluminium alloy and AA 7075 aluminium alloy/ZE41 magnesium alloy, have been treated under alternating current conditions using constant total currents.
