Ion acceleration mechanism in plasma focus devices
AbstractPlasma focus is one type of ion source with energy up to few MeV. While some efforts have been made to understand the physics of ion beam acceleration in plasma focus devices (PFD), an acceptable clarification does not exist yet. In this work, the procedure of ions) electrons) acceleration in PFDs to the MeV energy is investigated theoretically.

A study of high-frequency properties of plasma and the influence of electromagnetic radiation from IR to XUV [PDF]
On the basis of calculated values for the conductivity in an external electric field, we determined the high-frequency characteristics of plasmas under extreme conditions (e. g. dense plasma focus device).

Study Cherenkov radiation by production of positrons and its annihilation in dense plasma focus
The purpose of the current study was to evaluate the production of positrons through natNe2D4He18F, nuclear reactions and its possible Cherenkov radiation (CR) before annihilating in the hot and dense plasma medium (pinch) of a Mather type dense plasma ...

Electrical Behavior of an Ultralow-Energy Plasma-Focus Device
Measurements of electrical signals in discharges performed in a miniature plasma-focus device (5 nF capacitor bank, central electrode diameter and effective free length 2.0 and 0.5 mm, respectively, no outer electrode) are reported. A lumped model is built that gives good agreement between the model and the recorded signals. The main conclusions are as
