Magnetohydrodynamic Model for Plasma Instabilities in the Ion-Kinetic Regime
A magnetized plasma is considered. It is shown that the MHD model provides an adequate description of plasma instabilities in the ion-kinetic regime, where the characteristic scales of the plasma motion fall below the ion Larmor radius.

Epitaxial Cr(1+δ)Te2 thin films were synthesized via hybrid Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) that combined Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) techniques with PLD. Control of the Cr intercalation, δ, enabled modulation of magnetic anisotropy, Curie temperature, and transport properties.
